Poster Analysis

I decided to analyse the poster for "The King of Kong", as it is one of my favourite documentaries and was hugely successful with critics. Rotten Tomatoes reported that 97% of critics gave the film positive reviews.

 

As I am finding it difficult to find films similar to mine, I thought I would look for films with similar characters or themes. Juno shares the theme of teen pregnancy, so I analysed a Juno film poster.

 

My college drop out character will have involvement of drugs, and will live in a very urban area, so I decided to analyse the 8 Mile poster, as it has a similar setting and theme.
